Kynarl

The Falari island of Kynarl, or Kayanarle, was the ancient and semi-mythical seat of the height of Old Falar's civilization. It was located in the Walk Sea near the centre of a ring of similar islands that in the time of the Malazan Empire was known as Rubble Isle. It was home to an old palace where kings and queens had ruled in ancient times, and hosted a diverse number of temples and holy shrines dedicated to the region's many gods, demi-god champions, spirits, and honoured ancestors. It was most famous for housing the greatest library in Falar and possibly the world. Only the fabled collection of scrolls and elder knowledge rumoured to be housed in Darujhistan was believed to be its superior. (wiki)
